"Mercator" to open “Roda centar” in Kragujevac on August 30

The CEO of company "Mercator S" and President of the Administrative Board of "M-Rodić", Stanka Čurović, said today (August 15, 2008) that Kragujevac would get the first "Mercator" facility under the name of "Roda centar" on August 30th.

- With the opening of "Roda centar", Kragujevac will get a facility at 30,000 square meters whose value is larger than 20m EUR and the opportunity to have minimum 300 people from that city and surroundings employed – Čurović pointed out.

According to her words, "Roda centar" will include "Roda megamarket" at 3,000 square meters and other standard "Mercator" contents.

It will also include the store with household appliances and articles for house and household at 1,200 square meters, "Intersport" store, men’s and women’s clothing store "Modiana", perfume store "Beautique" and playground for kids "Lumpi".

- In addition, the consumers in Kragujevac will be offered domestic and foreign branded goods in more than 60 stores, such as textile, footwear, clothing, toys, fishing gear, computer equipment, and there will also be a post office, pharmacy, catering facilities, etc. – Čurović announced.

She pointed out that "Mercator" was the only market chain in Serbia that issued its own shopping card - "Meckator Pika", which offers discounts of up to 6%, 30-day postponed payment and payment in 12 monthly installments without interest rate and additional fees.

The Marketing Manager of "Mercator S" and "M-Rodić", Goran Sorak, announced the concert of "Bajaga i instruktori" on August 29, one day before the opening of "Roda centar" in Kragujevac, as the gift of the company to the citizens of that town.
