Luxurious hotel instead of building of former Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs - five-star "Belgrade Plaza" worth 150m EUR
Israeli company "Plaza centers" will build a five-star hotel "Belgrade Plaza", worth 150m EUR, on the location of the building of former FEderal Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kneza Miloša Street.
The CEO of that company in Serbia, Sagiv Meger, said that they were waiting to get the building permit from the city authorities and that the realization of that project would immediately follow.
As he said, the hotel will be built at surface of 100,000 square meters and it will include a conference center, delux spa center, glass restaurant with the view of Belgrade, shopping mall and business tower, as well as the parking lot with 2,000 parking places.
Company "Plaza centers" bought the building of former Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade last year in August for 29.1m EUR. The building was severely damaged during NATO bombing in 1999.
