First international real estate exhibition and conference REBEC in Belgrade - June 23-25
The first international real estate exhibition and conference REBEC will be held between June 23 and 25 in "Sava" center.
REBEC (Real Estate Belgrade Exhibition&Conference) has been created after the most famous real estate exhibitions in the world - MIPIM and MAPIC in Cannes, EXPO Real in Munich, REAL Vienna in Vienna and Expo Italia in Milan. This was explained at today's press conference (June 3, 2008).
According to the words of the organizer of this project, the CEO of company "Festlent", Aleksandar Opsenica, this exhibition will make it possible for all those interested to find out - what is new in the region in field of real estates, which are the most attractive segments for investments, what is the role of investment funds.
The representative of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency SIEPA, Božidar Laganin, said that Belgrade had large potential on the real estat market and that the incomes worth 390m EUR had been realized in 2007.
He pointed out that about 750m EUR worth of investments were being realized on the territory of Belgrade at the moment, and he added that the potential was gerat in all segments of the market because there was need for industrial facilities, office space, housing space and shopping malls.
REBEC conference is divided into seven panel discussions - city planning, greenfield, brownfield and golf courts, restitution and privatization as drivers of real estate dvelopment, overall aspects of PPP and financing model, prospects of leasing, Serbia as the logistic center of southeast Europe, opportunities and prospects of investment funds and FM institutions and prognoses for the Balkans.
Participation in the conference has already been confirmed by Peter Harradine, golf court project engineer, Jean Francois Vanwinkel (Immo Industry Group), Jens Moller Madsen (King Sturge Croatia), Christian Schitton (Immo International AG), Ray Cliff (Ray Cliff Consulting), Peter Orlić (Lawyer's office Paul Hastings), Alexander Petritz (Immorent), Milan Parivodić (Wolf Theiss), Danijela Ilić (Serbian Association of Appraisers), Rastko Đokić (MPC Properties).
