Greek "Lampsa" announced rehabilitation of hotel "Excelsior" at beginning of year 2009 – investment worth 4m EUR
Greek company "Lampsa" has started to design the plan for reconstruction of hotel "Excelsior", which will cost between 3 and 4m EUR.
The executive manager of Greek company "Lampsa", Nik Dandalos, said that, most probably, the whole building of Belgrade-based hotel “Excelsior” would be rehabilitated, and the reconstruction would start in 2009.
- We are currently examining the entire architecture of the building and we want to make it a real boutique hotel on an excellent location – said Dandalos.
Belgrade-based hotel "Excelsior" has two stars, 55 rooms and 46
employees, and "Lampsa" bought it for 7.5m EUR on the auction of the
Privatization Agency one month ago.
"Lampsa" foresees great development of tourism and hotel management in Serbia because it believes in the admission of the country into European Union, which will condition large development of tourism and hotel management in the incoming years.
