Six bids on tender for sale of 59.9% of capital of Belgrade-based "Optika"

- Total of six bids have been submitted on the tender for sale of 59.9% of assets of Belgrade-based "Optika" - Privatization Agency announced.

The bids for sale of majority public capital in company for design and trade in optical goods "Optika" have been submitted by companies "Home Art & Sales Services", owned by businessman Filip Zepter, Subotica-based "Fidelinka", "Grossoptic" from Belgrade and Italian "Salmoiraghi & Vigano", as well as by two local consortiums - the first one made of "Veterinarski zavod Zemun" and "Beta ITH PBB" from Belgrade, and the second one made of Belgrade-based companies "Lilly Drogerie" and "Fins Trade".

On the basis of the analysis of qualification and additional documentation and the opinions of the advisers of the Privatization Agency, Tender Committee has stated that all bidders meet qualification terms.

Tender for sale of 59.9% of stocks of company for design and trade in optical goods "Optika" was announced on September 28, 2007.

Total of 50% of stocks owned by the Share Fund and 10% of stocks owned by the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund are offered for sale, which makes total of 34,073 stocks. Remaining stocks of that company are owned by minor stockholders.

Current price of one stock of "Optika" on the Belgrade Stock Exchange is 7,000 RSD, while the highest ever was 10,000 RSD.
