Delta Real Estate new owner of Holiday Inn Hotel and BelExpo Center
Delta Real Estate has become the owner of Holiday Inn Hotel and BelExpo Center in Belgrade.
As reported by the company, through the purchase of Holiday Inn and BelExpo, Delta is continuing to expand its operations in Serbia in strategic businesses, agriculture and real estate development. As well, it is strengthening the cooperation with the InterContinental Hotels Group, which is now carried out through three brands of this hotel group.
Holiday Inn Belgrade is a four-star hotel which offers 140 rooms and 7 meeting halls to its guests. BelExpo is a multifunctional center, connected to the hotel, with an area of 2,500 square meters.
– Even though Holiday Inn's business results are good, we intend to fully improve its operations and provide even better service to the guests – stated Zivorad Vasic, vice president of Delta Holding and general manager of Crowne Plaza Belgrade Hotel.
– BelExpo Center has great unused potential for organizing events, which fits perfectly into the strategy of Delta Real Estate towards developing congress tourism in Belgrade, where activities are not season-dependent, but last throughout the year instead.
Delta now owns Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza in Belgrade and the future InterContinental hotel in Ljubljana, whose opening is planned to take place in spring 2017. Delta is ready to start building the InterContinental Belgrade hotel, having already had the plan and the location prepared.
The InterContinental Hotels Group is the largest hotel group in the world. It includes over 5,000 hotels in 100 countries, operating under 12 hotel brands.
