Government of Serbia taking over Vranjska Banja Institute for Rehabilitation – Investment of EUR 10-12 million needed for development of premises
The Government of Serbia will take over the authority over the Institute for Rehabilitation in Vranjska Banja from the Pension and Disability insurance fund and begin looking for an investor next week, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said during his visit to Serbia's south.
The government will look for an investor for the premises with an area of 11,000 m2, which have been empty since 1978. The first negotiations will be held with investors from Turkey, i.e. with the country's embassy in Serbia, Vucic specified, as reported on the government's website.
According to his estimate, around EUR 10 to 12 million is needed for the completion and development of the Institute in order for the works to be performed well and draw tourists.
The prime minister also added that the issue of the ownership of the Special Hospital for Rehabilitation and the Zeleznicar enterprise were being solved.
