Kragujevac gets new shopping center - Sava Building starts construction of retail complex in April
Construction of the retail complex Sava in the Aerodrom neighborhood in Kragujevac is going to kick off 1 April 2016, Nikola Vrucinic, one of the owners of the project investor Sava Building, told eKapija.
According to him, Sava Building from Kragujevac will invest about EUR 1.7 million in the project.
The new shopping mall will be covering a surface area of 2,400 square meters, comprising 20 outlets ranging in size from 50 to 600 square meters. Its offer is adapted to the modern lifestyle, so various commercial facilities will all be situated at one place - a bank, pastry shop, coffee shops, bakery, healthy food, delicatessen and toy stores, gift shops, furniture showroom, playroom for children, and a public garage with 60 parking spaces.
As Vrucinic explained, the primary target group of the micro market Sava is a population of 46,000, and all the office space within it is not for rent, but for sale. At the moment, the retail complex occupancy is 80%, while the rest of outlets should get the owner prior to the commencement of construction.
This facility will be built in line with all energy standards and will be completely self-sustainable when it comes to energy consumption. It was also made sure that the future shopping mall fits aesthetically into the urban structure of the Aerodrom neighborhood. The project was prepared by the architectural studio Creative Box from Kragujevac.
Opening of the retail complex Sava is scheduled for 1 September 2016.
