Delta opens distribution center in Stara Pazova - Investment of EUR 10 m

Distribution-logistics center of Delta transportni sistem (DTS) has opened today in Stara Pazova.

The facility was built in somewhat more than 7 months and it expands on a lot of 9,2 ha, while warehouse occupies 18.000 m2 and has 26.000 pallet units.

The location where distribution center is, as it was said at the opening, was specially selected for vicinity and since it is easily accessible for all road directions in the country as well as for planned construction of new industrial zone in this part.

President of Delta holding, Miroslav Miskovic, said at the opening of distribution-logistics center that new vacancies is the task of everyone operating in trade.

-Delta will continue investing here. We might start next year with construction of the second stage of our distribution center and soon the third and thus we will make the biggest logistics center in the region – Miskovic said.

The facility was designed in line with all standards so that they would enable quality and regular goods delivery.

- Thanks to the investment of EUR 10 m, Delta transportni system will be able to supply some 15.000 buyers in Serbia with approximately 3.000 deliveries on daily basis – Vojin Milic, GM at DTS said. He added that warehouse has five thermal regimes, from -20 to +25 degrees.

President of the Stara Pazova municipality, Djordje Radinovic, said he is satisfied for the fact that Delta holding picked up this location for the constructon of the most modern distribution center.
