Luxury of the East in Trnovo - EUR 2.25 billion tourist resort to open near Sarajevo

Trnovo, which is situated not far away from Sarajevo, was in the spotlight last week after a protocol on cooperation was signed for the construction of KM 4.5 billion (EUR 2.25 billion) worth of tourist complex in that town.

We at eKapija have tried to get more information on this project from a representative of the Trnovo municipality and the investor.

As we have been told, the Buroj Property Development company from Dubai plans to build a tourist resort called Buroj Ozone in Trnovo.

An area of 120 hectares that is set aside for this purpose will house luxury hotels, villas, suites, shopping mall, restaurants, promenades, green and water areas. Based on a short film that was shown when the protocol was signed, the plan is to build all facilities around the central part of the complex that will feature five small artificial lakes with fountains. Each lake will be shaped as one of the letters in the investor's name - Buroj.
