Restaurant at the Belgrade on water space emerges
It seems that the stand at the Sava walking zone made
for the project presentations of "Belgrade on water", will become the
Strafta restaurant. The company, set up in late October, released a job advertisement
for six cooks and pizza craftsmen, where it was stated that this restaurant is
"the first facility within ‘Belgrade on water".
Miroslav Kesic is registered as the owner at the ABR and Andrej Kesic, known as
one of pretty successful capital clubs which go for the nightlife hot spots, holds
the managerial position.
Since the job advertisement for cooks at Strafta is open until mid-December, it can be expected that the restaurant will open before the New Year.
The facility was built and at the moment works on interior and a big terrace have been in progress. The back wall next to the railroad is made of concrete while the remaining three overlooking the river are made of glass. Grass and decorative trees are placed around the restaurant. The facility occupies 670 m2, cost EUR 500.000 and it was built on green area.
During the summer, the Savski venac municipality issued a decision on approving construction of temporary facility for project presentation at that public space. The permit is valid until July 30, 2015 and after that, the stand must be removed.
