Draxlmaier Group Srbija has donated 50,000 protective gloves, 2,000 N95 protective masks, 2,000 single-use protective masks and 150 protective visors to the Special Hospitals for Pulmonary Diseases Dr Vasa Savic in Zrenjanin, which was turned into a Covid hospital on July 15. Also, 250 visors have been donated to the General Hospital Djordje Joanovic.
– We greatly appreciate the enormous effort of medical doctors and technicians who are providing the necessary care to the patients during this difficult period. We are glad that we are able to provide additional safety conditions to the health workers in the Zrenjanin hospitals, thereby supporting the health system and helping fight coronavirus – said Branimir Joksimovic, the manager of operating processes of Draxlmaier Group Srbija.
The donated visors were produced by Draxlmaier Group at its facility in Braunau, Austria. At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, they made the first protective visor (D-shield) with a 3D printer. In the meantime, they also designed and produced a visor with a specially-designed casting tool. Draxlmaier produces and process all its components thanks to the company's competences in design, precision tool manufacturing and casting, as well as the competences of the employees worldwide. The protective visors are CE certified and meet all the requirements for this kind of protective equipment and provide reliable protection from getting infected. At the moment, the Draxlmaier factory in Austria is capable of producing 1,000 visors a day.
