NEPI Rockcastle Donates EUR 150,000 to Fight Covid-19 virus

NEPI Rockcastle, the leading investment group in central and eastern Europe for commercial real estate, has donated EUR 150,000 to the international Red Cross organization to help fight the spreading of COVID-19. The money will be distributed in line with the current medical needs and will be used for the purchase of disinfectants or equipment necessary for the slowing down of the spreading of the virus. It will also support the campaign of the spreading of awareness of the measures that can be taken to prevent the further spreading of coronavirus.

The donation will be distributed across several branches of Red Cross in central and eastern Europe. The money will be invested in necessary products, such as facemasks, soaps, hand cleaning products, tissues and other hygienic products.

Countrywide appeal to solidarity

NEPI Rockcastle is dedicated to providing support to corporate responsibility initiatives, and the group therefore supported over 80 NGOs, active in various fields, such as social support, health, education and environmental protection, last year. Faced with the new circumstances, NEPI Rockcastle addressed these NGOs, in an effort to incite them to redirect a part of the funds to those directly fighting coronavirus. Some of the organizations have already responded and confirmed that they will actively contribute in the upcoming period in the form of donations and support to campaigns directed at fighting COVID-19.
