Nemanja Brkovic, Public Affairs Director U.S. Steel Serbia, d.o.o.
Nemanja Brkovic was born at Belgrade on November 7, 1976. He earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication from Faculty of Political Science at Belgrade in 2001. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Brkovic has attended Alternative Academic Educational Network and has won a certificate within European Studies. Mr. Brkovic has begun its American Studies on Faculty for Political Science in Belgrade.
During 1998, Mr. Brkovic worked as journalist on BK television. He gained additional experience within media working for Daily “Borba” (2000 – 2003), where he covered the most important events within political and economic life of Serbia.
He earned the experience within public relations by working for USAID funded project (Serbia Tax Reform project) from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Brkovic worked on campaign for Value Added Tax implementation in Serbia, as well as on public education about VAT. In addition to that, he was involved within many other projects such as, legalization of illegal constructed facilities (also co-funded by USAID), and cooperation with Agency for small and medium enterprises.
On February 20, 2006, Mr. Brkovic became Public Affairs Director at U. S. Steel Serbia, d.o.o. Beside day to day communication with media on behalf of the Company, he cooperates with representatives of municipalities where U. S. Steel Serbia is operating, as well as supervise a realization of humanitarian and socially responsible activities of the Company.
Nemanja Brkovic speaks fluently English language and has basic knowledge of Russian and Spanish language, too.
