What does Banat offer to investors? – Free Zone Zrenjanin selected as the best in Europe

The mayor of Zrenjanin, Cedomir Janjic, outlined that the award was given since investors starting business in Free zone Zrenjanin can choose incentives as a support for their investment.

- Land, with certain conditions (first of all headcount and investment size) can be bought at significantly lower price, even get them free of charge if an investor is planning big invetsmjnts and hiring of a large number of people. Facilities and space can be bought or rented – Janjic outlined for the Beta agency.

As he said, Free Zone Zrenjanin offers customs free activities when importing and exporting raw materials as well as equipment which will be used and materials for infrastructure and other benefits. Janjic mentions that, among other things, cooperation with the customs branch office in Zrenjanin is also extremely good.

- The City of Zrenjanin is extremely proud of this award which is definitely the result of long work in our administration and directorate. Thus, we organized to meet investors’’ needs and we are sure it will result in new investments, new hires in our town – Janjic added.

Free Zone Zrenjanin is one of four free zones in Serbia. However, with business operations in free zone, costs are significantly reduced, even up to 40%.
