Prevent does not give up Prijepolje-based FAP Livnice – Investments of EUR 11 m underway
Prevent from Visoko in Bosnia and Herzegovina is interested in the acquisition of FAP’s Prijepolje-based Livnica sa nadogradnjom, the minister of trade, tourism and telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic, said.
- The announced privatization would enable production start, some 500 new hires
and opeing of the plant’s prospect, Prijepolje, and the entire region – Ljajic said
to journalists when touring FAP’s Prijepolje-based section with Prevent’s representatives.
Representatives of the Prevent company which has 4.000 employees in Visoko, Gorazde,
Zenica, Jelah and Vogosca repeated they are ready to become owners of Livnica
sa nadogradnjom through current privatization of 502 firms in Serbia and to
pour EUR 11 m in modernization of production and production program expansion.
Prevent’s representatives said they are ready to keep the existing production
program of Livnica, to invest in another line as well as to expand product
range through introducing production of coverings
for automotive industry, the thing they are famous for in the European
environment because in their departments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, they work
for Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, etc.
They outlined they expect a call from the Ministry of trade to specify talks on privatization of Livnica sa nadgradnjom.
