Mobtel worth 900 million EUR, estimate by Austrian "Raiffeisen centrobank", share of Mobtel in market - about 50%

The analysts of "Raiffeisen centrobank" (RCB) estimated that the value of Serbian mobile telephony operator Mobtel is about 900 million EUR. Telekom Austria is interested in take-over of Mobtel.

Share of Mobtel 063 in the market of mobile telephony in Serbia was estimated to about 50% by RCB. It is expected that the turnover of Mobtel in 2005 will amount to 305 million EUR.

According to the estimates of the analysts of RCB related to procurement of the company, Telekom Austria should first secure majority ownership in Mobtel, and then, similar to the case of Vip-net, take over complete ownership.
