September 30 to see Sika opening Simanovci-based plant for production of construction material– Investment of EUR 4,2 m
September 30 will see Sika officially opening the plant for production of materials for special purposes in construction in Simanovci. A total of five million Swiss francs was poured in the greenfield project (some EUR 4,2 m).
It is completely automatized plant with the most modern technology expanding on more than 4.300 square meters.
Among other guests, Jean Daniel Ruch, the Ambassador of Switzerland in Serbia will attend the ceremony.
Swiss Sika is a leader in hydro insulation and production of chemicals for construction and industry. It operates in 84 countries worldwide, has 16.293 employees and generates an annual profit of 345 million Swiss francs.
In Serbia, Sika has been operating for 12 years, taking part in significant projects- Bridge on Aad, Beska bridge, Belville and Delta City, TC Ušće,Carlsberg, Interceptor, tunnel Strаzevica, Gazela, Metro, Gorenje, AirportCity, bypass around Belgrade and many others.
