Japanese firms interested in business operations in Serbia
President of the Government of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has met today with the representatives of the Japanese business organization, Keidanren, who are visiting Belgrade so that they could consider options of investing in Serbia; it was announced at the official website of the Government of Serbia.
Vucic expressed gratitude to the people and the Government of Japan for the great support provided to Serbia after floods, mentioning that the country is second-ranked when it comes to donations our country received.
The Prime Minister presented to representatives of Keidanren reform measures which the Government of Serbia is carrying out which will improve investment environment.
It is the fact that Serbia is on its way to EU but that it is the only country which has an agreement on free trade with EU, Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkey which makes it convenient for the arrival of foreign companies, Vucic outlined.
He said our country is ready to offer the best investing options for Japanese companies.
President of the Committee for Europe of the Japanese business organization, Josio Sato, outlined that Japan wants Serbia to contribute to stability and to develop economically.
Japan contributes to economic growth to the countries it cooperates with and therefore it is interested into investing in Serbia, Sato outlined.
He said representatives of Japanese companies are interested in food, automotive and electrical industry.
Production is the biggest potential of your country and it will contribute to new hires and export increase which will generate new hires, president of Keidanren organization which comprises 1300 biggest Japanese firms and 112 business associations, outlined.
