Danubius gets new production line - Delta agrar pours EUR 1, 8 m
Novi Sad-based Danubius operating within Delta agrar, has put today into operation a new line for production of pasta where it poured EUR 1,8m.
Vice President of Delta holding for agriculture, Milorad Sredanovic, said that the annual capacity of the most modern production line made in Padova-based Favema plant totals 10.000 tons.
He outlined that the investment is important both for Delta and Novi Sad because annual production of pasta in Serbia totals 25.000 tons.
The mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucicevic, opened the new production line and said that policy of the Government of Serbia is to generate partnership relations with private companies investing in Serbia.
Miroslav Miskovic, President of Delta Holding, attended the opening of production line as well.
Thanks to new investment, Danubius will produce 15.000 tons of pasta per year.
Since 2006, the company has been operating within Delta agrar. It has a unique mill in Serbia which can daily provide 300 tons of flour for pasta.
