Smartphone takes a car to a parking place

Technology which French car component producer, Valeo, is developing will enable cars to drive itself to a parking, find an available parking place and park – all upon a driver’s command over the smartphone.

Fully0automatized Connected Automated Valet Parking system, presented at the Car Show in Detroit is ten years far from mass production and in the meantime regulations must change so that distant car control could be governed.

After he finishes with his work, a driver will be able to call his car over the smartphone from a parking and it will drive itself to him.

Thus Valeo is the only one where a car is looking for a parking place itself and which is equally useful, it comes to a driver when he calls for it, with a single palm click on the smartphone.
