Serbia and Slovenia need mutual road and railway traffic projects
State secretary at the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure, Dejan Trifunovic, has discussed today with the minister for infrastructure and spatial planning of Slovenian, Sam Omerzel, infrastructure projects in Serbia and region and said the region needs mutual infrastructure projects, the Ministry for Traffic announced.
At the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Trifunovic and Omerzel have participated today
at the final conference of the Estimation of attractiveness of SEE territories"
project ("Attract-SEE"), organized by the Republic Agency for Spatial
planning.
The project aims at setting up regional monitoring and integral spatial resources
and development management system in SEE. "Atracct-SEE" is a two-year
project, totaling EUR 1,7m, funded by EU IPA funds. The project comprised 10
partner institutions and eight institutions-observers form nine countries of
the region.
Omerzel estimated that cooperation between the governments of Serbia and Slovenia
is based on friendly even brotherly basis as well as expert one which is a good
thing for long –term cooperation in the upcoming period.
