Urgent tender for Stavalj thermal power plant – Czech and Chinese investors interested

A request for urgent tender for the Stavalj thermal power plant construction has been sent. The Czech and Chinese investors are interested in it.

GM at PC for underground coal exploitation"Resavica", Vladan Milosevic, delivered the request to Vice President of the Government Zorana Mihajlovic.

Apart from this one, it is essential to release an urgent tender for the new mine opening, Stavalj zapad so that the existing coal reserves of 93 million tons could be used; it was stated at Milosevic’s request who is also president of the assembly of Depostovac municipality.

He outlines that both Czech and Chinese investors are interested in this project.

In his letter, he also reminds that “the Embassy of the Russian Federation is interested in the Poljana project where production of 1, 2 million tons of coal is planned, depending on investment of EUR 45 mil.
