Who is interested in state-owned companies – Matijevic wants ten combines more, Russians want Budimka and Knez Petrol interested in PIK Zemun
Knez Petrol wants to buy PIK Zemun, Petar Matijevic is interested in more than 10 agricultural companies, Dubai-based company in Aviogenex and the Russians in Budimka, Blic reports.
In three weeks, since sale of 502 companies was announced, the Agency for
Privatziation received offers for the purchase of 87 companies, Blic finds out.
Potential buyers delivered 126 letters of intentions, 30 of which is for agricultural
companies.
The source of Blic says Matijevic dominates, showing interts in more than 10
companies which have attractive agricultural land. Backa Sivac", PIK
"Zemun", etc. are among them.
Teraprodukt61 sent some 10 letters. The company is interested in crop and fruit
production in whole Serbia.
According to the Agency for Business Registries, owners of Teraprodukt61, are:
AMK Azerbaijan (75%), Radisa Jevtovic (20%) and Turkish Hurol Emre Candan(5%). When
it comes to agricultural producers, Budimka has a chance since the Russians are
interested in it. Apart from Matijevic, Knez Petrol which has recently bought a
farm with 25.000 pigs is interested in it as well.
The owner of Knez Petrol, Srdjan Knezevic says he is planning to pour EUR 7 m
in PIK Zemun and to increase the number of cows from 450 to 1500.
The source of Blic says buyers sent letters for Darosava-based Samot. The company
is Austrian.
