Total of 650,000 EUR invested in dry-room for fruit and medicinal herbs in Nevesinje with daily capacity of 6 tons of plum
The finishing works on the construction of modern dry-room for fruit and medicinal herbs have started in Nevesinje. This project is coordinated by Spanish organization MZC and it is financed by the Government of Spain with 650,000 EUR.
About 30 workers will find jobs in the dry-room whose daily capacity is 6 tons of plum. It is expected that, once the dry-room is put into operation, about 1,000 households from the territory of Nevesinje will have additional incomes through both collecting forest fruit and medicinal herbs and delivery of domestic fruit products to the dry-room.
According to the words of the Manager of Collective Farm Nevesinje, Tripo Nastić, the second phase of construction will include finishing construction works on the very building, organization of the access road, electric installations and heating. After these works, the equipment that has already been delivered will be installed.
