Aza el Abd newly-appointed head of the USAID Mission in Serbia
Azza el Abd is newly-appointed head the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Serbia.
She passed an oath at the ceremony in Washington, the American Embassy in Belgrade communicated.
El Abd will be in charge of USAID programs management which aim at supporting the set up of responsible democratic institutions in Serbia and promotion of its overall economic development.
El Abd has a degree in electrical engineering from the University in Alexandria and she acquired her MS degree in the field of the Strategy of using national resources at the Industrial faculty of the American armed forces.
Newly appointed USAID head in Serbia speaks Arabic and Spanish.
