German Fraport interested in Nikola Tesla airport

German Fraport is interested in the acquisition of the Nikola Tesla airport in Belgrade and is one of the most serious competitors for its takeover, Ljubljana –based Dnevnik reports.

The company has big ambitions in the entire region. Fraport offered the best terms for the acquisition of the Airport Ljubljana so it is obvious that it will sign the acquisition contract next week.

In its final negotiations for the Airport Ljubljana, Fraport offered significantly more than competitors on tender from Italy and France and a few financial funds which were also interested and the sale price is still not known, Slovenian magazine, Dnevnik writes and Seebiz reports.

As it was added, Fraport will next week sign the contract on takeover of Ljubljana-based airport with Slovenian state-owned holding (SDH), the agency of the Government of Slovenia which manages the portfolio of state-owned property and privatization.

Freport has big plans in the entire region and the nearest airport manages and owns is in Bulgaria.
