The owner of Cyprus-based company "Aciona investment limited", which gave offer for procurement of "Putnik", is Russian company "Metropol".

The capital of "Metropol" is estimated to 2 billion USD and its owner is Russian businessman Mihail Slipenčuk.

The Management of "Metropol" arrived in Belgrade in order to present the intentions of the company for the procurement of "Putnik". The Manager of that company, Jurij Vodopjenov, says that their total offer for "Putnik" amounts to about 60m EUR and that they founded a company on Cyprus especially because of the size of that transaction.

"Metropol", as Vodopjenov points out, has the license for trade in securities on the whole market of EU. It also has a company in Great Britain, which is a member of the London Stock Exchange.

The offer for "Putnik" is valid until April 2, 2007, and the decision about sale is all State’s.
