Number of passengers makes Nikola Tesla Airport second-ranked in Europe
The Nikola Tesla Airport Belgrade is the second-ranked European capital when it comes to percentage of passenger number increase of 32%, the Association of the European airports (ACI Europe) published in their report for the first half of the year.
Passenger number increasing trend continued in July as well and record 539.823 passengers was served while since the beginning of the year, more than 2,5 mil of passengers have been registered, the airport announced.
During the summer season, the airport outdid its daily record for a few times.
The biggest number of passengers was on August 2 when 20.380 people used the Belgrade-based airport services, the airport announced.
