"Meriot International", world largest hotel chain, interested in Belgrade

One of the world largest hotel chains "Meriot International" is interested in investing in Serbia, especially in Belgrade.

Miodrag Popović, the Manager of the Tourism Organization of Serbia, spoke last week in Berlin with the management of that company at the Tourism Fair. On that occasion, some concrete proposals related to investments in Serbia were presented.

Besides, Popović said that, starting next winter, Serbia would be represented in the "Neckermann" catalog. Low-tariff transportation company "German wings", which flies on the Belgrade-Koeln line since September 2006, is interested in promoting Serbia and bringing German tourists to Serbia.
