"Delta Holding"s profit in the first half of 2014 sums to 2.7 billion dinars

In the difficult business conditions for the entire Serbian economy, in the first six months of this year, "Delta Holding" has achieved good results, as reflected in the operating profit before tax of $ 2.7 billion dinars, 18% higher than in the same period last year and in the total turnover of 27 billion dinars, according to the holding.
In six months of this year, it was recorded almost double the exports over the same period of 2013. On the international market, revenue of 2.3 billion dinars was achieved. Export growth, in addition to grains trade , the largest contribution came from the export of meat and meat products.
To the budget of the Republic of Serbia, based on direct and indirect taxes, "Delta Holding" has paid 5.83 billion dinars.

As they say in the press release, for the entire fiscal year in the "Delta Holding", the most significant will be investment. In the first six months, it has been begun construction of the second cooler on the property of Podunavlje in Celarevo and construction of a new "Delta" distribution center in Stara Pazova. Once the distribution center is completed in late January 2015, it will mean hiring of 400 new people.
- In the second half of this year we plan to start realization of investments with a total value of 200 million euros.
When it comes to social responsibility, in the first half of 2014, "Delta" has allocated 1 million EUR, out of which in direct grants € 903,500.
- In 262 action we have provided aid to 141,407 people. In accordance with the situation in our country, humanitarian activities are mainly focused on the rehabilitation of catastrophic floods and for this purpose so far we have donated money and goods worth 501.365 euros. In the first phase, we have participated in emergency actions, donating food, water, clothing and shoes, toiletries .... In the second stage, we initiated the action # agricultural rehabilitation, where we delivered 190 tons of animal feed for farmers in seven municipalities in Serbia.
"Delta" added in the statement that it is specifically focusing on the problem of their employees who are affected by disasters.
- There are 30 families at risk, from Obrenovac, Jagodina and Kolar - at this point , we are building two new houses and renovating 13 buildings, and 16 colleagues have received financial assistance.
