"Aha Mura" on auction in September - "Prvi maj" Pirot asking for Government's help
Bankruptcy trustee of "Aha Mura" submitted a proposal on sales of the company’s assets on public auction at the end of September.
District Court in Murska Sobota informed privileged creditors – NLB, Slovenian Tax Administration, Milan Morc and "Sistemski integrator FMC" company – on the "Aha Mura" trustee’s proposal.
According to the court, it would be most appropriate to sell the assets of the company on public auction raising the initial price.
The initial price should be EUR 4.6 million, according to its estimated value, where guarantees would be 10% of the price, writes Slovenian daily "Vecer".
In that case, NLB would be paid half of receivables and others, including Tax Administration, would not obtain anything, reports daily "Vecer".
"Aha Mura" Pirot
President of Pirot municipality Vladan Vasic, CEO of "Prvi maj-Aha Mura" company Masa Flegar and Unions of the company have asked Serbian Government, in their official letter, to take over the ownership of "Prvi maj", after starting a bankruptcy procedure in the headquarters of the company in Murska Sobota, Slovenia.
The company in Pirot has been unsuccessfully privatized for the second time and it could be run down, as Mojca Lukancic, an owner of Slovenian company, has not met any contractual obligations. She led into bankruptcy both the parent company and company in Pirot - which would be able to operate with its 1,300 seamstresses.
As the letter quotes, Lukancic became an owner of Serbian factory for EUR 2.1 million with subsidy of EUR 6.6 million from Serbian Government, or more precisely Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA).
