A corporation from Japan, which represents Japanese automobile companies "Nissan", "Suzuki", "Mitsubishi" and "Subaru", as well as South Korean Hyundai, in the negotiations with the potential partners all over the world, has been negotiating with the management of "Zastava Group" about establishment of business partnership for a long time now.

These negotiations have beom more serious recently, when the economic delegations of Kragujevac and "Zastava" visited India, where Japanese corporation has one of its headquarters. The potential Japanese partners are ready to sign the contract on business-technical cooperation with "Zastava", similar to the one signed with "Fiat".

That practically means that, in addition to Italian "punto", "Zastava" could soon start assembling some of the latest models of the automobiles of Japanese manufacturers - "Nissan", "Suzuki", "Mitsubishi" or some of the latest passenger "Hyundai" vehicles.

According to the information from the preliminary negotiations in India, Japanese companies are willing to let Kragujevac start assembling of one of their latest models of automobiles according to Japanese technology, which, according to "Zastava", would not require much too large investments into the units and equipment of the Automobile factory.
