Russians to hire two Serbian companies more for railroads modernization- Energotehnika-Juzna Backa and ATM entrusted work totaling USD 4,5 mil

RZD International is hiring twoSerbian companies more– Novi Sad-based Energotehnika-Juzna Backa and Belgrade-based ATM on the Serbian railways modernization project

Namely, RZD International which is in charge for the implementation of the Russian loan in Serbia for railway modernization signed on Friday, July 18,2014 a production contract totaling USD 4,5 mil with the domestic consortium comprising Energotehnika-Juzna Backa and ATM, the company which is a part ofthe Russian state-owned railways announced.

The contract comprises delivery of material, equipment and construction works on contact network and electrical and energy facilities at the Pancevacki most– Pancevo Glavna section.

Subcontractors will start the works as soon as possible after the formal part is finished.

This way, hiring of Serbian companies on the railway infrastructure modernization project in our country which is implemented from the Russian state-owned loan of USD 800 mil, continues.

The project implementation will significantly enable railway capacity increase and the quantity of goods transported in Serbia.
