Yahoo buys Israeli startup RayV
Yahoo bought Israeli startup company, RayV. The company was set up in 2005 and deals with global HD video content distribution with focus on mobile devices and smaller demands bandwidth in content transmission.
This way, Yahoo will deliver its video content to larger number of users,
especially to those who use mobile devices.
Details on the purchase as well as the amount Yahoo set aside are not known. It
is known that majority of employees at RayV will start working in Yahoo’s
center for research and development in Tel Aviv.
