Open competition for contractor for works on the Pančevo bridge to be announced in April

- The City authorities have provided the financial support for the elaboration of the project for repair of the Pančevo bridge, which is in very bad condition, and its rehabilitation should cost about 30m EUR and will start in summer – said City Manager Bojan Stanojević.

The rehabilitation of the bridge will be partially financed from the budget of Serbia, partially from the credit approved by the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development.

Stanojević pointed out that, after many years of negotiations and talks about jurisdictions, the works had been divided between "Serbian Railways", Republic Directorate for Roads and City of Belgrade.
