Local experts to carry out the project of the tram railroad at the Bridge on Ada

Local experts will carry out the project of the tram railroad at the Bridge on Ada in Belgrade, the Directorate for the city construction land of Belgrade decided.

The contract was signed with Public Utility company Beograd put, Enkod, ATM BG, Geonet Inzenjering, Geo-test and Masinoprojekt kopring, and the contracted works total RSD 8.995.000.

The deadline for the selection of a designer expired December 31, 2013 but the public procurement procedure for the project design did not end due to a number of changes which mainly referred to required expertise and competency level of engineers ( tender documentation primarily stated an engineer only for a tram railroad and not for the railway as well) the Traffic Institute, CIP, submitted a request for the rights protection.

Finally, the commission led by the criteria of the lowest offered price in the decision-making process, selected cheaper option out of the two offered. The price of the second bidder was RSD11.800.000.

The contract signed in May implies that a bidder has 200 days to complete the work.
