Nautical pearls at Belgrade's Fair - this-year Nautical Fair to take place from March 8 to 11
The most famous world and domestic manufacturers of floating vehicles, the representatives of nautical equipment, as well as the lovers of cruising, yachts and boats, will gather at the Nautical Fair, which will be held from March 8 to 11, 2007, in hall 2 of the Belgrade Fair.
- This is the first time that the Belgrade Fair organizes the Nautical Fair all by itself, which proves that the nautics in industry, sport and fun is more and more popular both abroad and in our country - said Anđelko Trpković, the Manager of the Belgrade Fair at today's (March 1, 2007) press conference.
He pointed out that Serbia and Belgrade had large floating potential and that the Danube was becoming challenge for European navigators, which, as he said, "should be used".
During the four exhibit days, more than 60 domestic and foreign participants will exhibit 50 vessels of various types and dimensions, from luxurious yachts, motor boats and sailboats to small ships for daily picnics and fishing.
"Mira", "Monterey", "Four Winns" and "Mac Gegor" are only some of the names of the foreign companies that will be exhibiting in Belgrade, while the domestic nautics will be represented by "Inter Mehanika", "Atol Rafting", "Tri princeze", "Eko Panonija" and "Pajnik".
The Fair will be opened by the Vice President of the World Federation for Continental Navigation Ways, David Edvard May, and actor Marko Nikolić.
