Food industry "Vindija" from Varaždin, which bought Collective dairy in Lajkovac with daily capacity of 50,000 liters of milk and Fodder factory "Unip" in Valjevo two years ago, will invest, together with Belgrade-based "Karnak", more than 50m EUR in their reconstruction and modernization.

That will make it possible for these factories, which are currently closed and overgrown with weeds, to resume their regular production.

The works on reconstruction of Collective dairy have already begun. A farm with annual capacity of 40m fattened chickens will be built on a lot in the vicinity of the dairy.

Ljubiša Vujošević, a representative of the Belgrade group "Karnak", which cooperates with "Vindija", says that this Croatian giant in food industry will invest significant means into the growth of the production of milk, young beef and poultry meat on the farms in the Mačva and Kolubara regions, in order to provide enough raw materials at more favorable prices for modern factories.
