Belgrade-based hotel "Jugoslavija" to become gambling "Mecca" in the Balkans
Belgrade could become one of the main gambling centers in the Balkans in the next few years. Namely, the works on the renovation of hotel "Jugoslavija", in which big casino will be situated, should commence soon.
"Casinos Austria International" has obtained the exclusive license for "live game" in the diameter of 30 km, for which it paid 18m EUR and, in that way, beaten Slovenian company "Hit Gorica".
On 7,000 square meters of the currently closed hotel "Jugoslavija", which was bought by Croatian company "Alpe Adria", "Casinos Austria International" will open the casino with about 20 roulet and black-jack tables and there will also be slot machines.
The casino will, most probably, be settled in the halls turned to the Danube, while the trade center will be built in the part hit by a NATO bomb. Within the next two years, the hotel with five stars and foreign license will be opened in the main building.
Drugoplasirana firma na tenderu Uprave za igru na sreću "Hit Gorica" otvoriće kazino u blizni aerodroma "Nikola Tesla". Kockarnice koje ispunjavaju propise za držanje aparata i dalje će raditi.
