Overview:
Municipality of Bač is located in the south-west of Bačka, on the left bank of the river Danube, covering the area of 367 km2. The land is plain, intersected with small waterways and the Danube–Tisa–Danube Canal. Bač is 124 km away from Belgrade Airport and 66 km from Novi Sad. There are six settlements in this municipality: Bač, the administrative centre, Bačko Novo Selo, Plavna, Vajska, Bođani and Selenča. Distance to Belgrade Airport is 124 km and to Novi Sad 65 km.
Population
Bač has 16,268 inhabitants belonging to different groups such as Serbs, Slovaks, Hungarians, Croats and other ethnic minorities. The municipality has extremely rich cultural and religious heritage and three churches of different denominations.
Economy
The structure of the economy is determined by the geographic position of Bač municipality. The principal branches are agriculture, agro industry, construction, trade and hospitality industry. As of 2006, Bač has a total of 2,742 unemployed persons.
Infrastructure
Being situated close to the main transportation network, the municipality has strategic advantages. Bač is situated on the state border with Croatia, and it is just 60km from Novi Sad, 20 km from the Danube, 120 km from Belgrade and 60 km from the Pan-European Transport Corridor 10.
Tourism
Bač municipality has a great potential for tourism with its natural resources, such as Provala lake, the rivers of Krivaj, Mostonga and Jegrička, artificial lakes and the Danube, as the natural border of the municipality. Forests cover the area of 31.4km2, which is suitable for the development of hunting tourism. The municipality also has very diversified and rich cultural and historical heritage and monuments including the Fortress, the monastery of Bođani and the Turkish bath – hamam.
LOCATION 1
Site: Industrial Zone
Total area: 24 ha 54 a 72 m2

Intended use: Construction of small and middle-sized industrial plant (small-scale industry), construction of business premises / office space, parking spaces, warehouses.
Site description
The industrial zone is ideally located on the crossroads of the M-18 (Bačka Palanka-Odžaci) main road and R-102 (Bač-Bački Petrovac) local road. It is 900 m off the railroad route, 1 km away from the river Danube and 12 km far from Danube-Tisa-Danube Canal. The state border with Croatia is in the vicinity, with the border crossing near Vukovar (Croatia). The local Bačka Palanka- Bač railroad runs close to this area. The zone comprises 65 plots – the size of each of the vacant plots is 10a, approximately 25x40 m. There is a possibility for joining two or more lots into large ones. At present, there is a reinforcement bar factory, a tobacco drier and a small slaughterhouse in the Industrial zone.
Infrastructure
The site has access to power and water supply systems. Extension of sewerage reticulation is underway and telephone lines come right to the border of the location. The existing access roads provide quick connection to the main, local and other roads.

The lot is located in the immediate vicinity of the lake Provala in Vajska. Vajska is a settlement in Bač municipality, located near the state border with Croatia (Danube). The lake Provala visited by more then 3,000 tourists every summer constitutes a natural tourist resource of this municipality,.

Block 591-1 is a protected archaeological site. The total area of the fortress is 73a 63m2 and the size of the forest area around the fortress is 1ha 18a 68m2. Regional R-102 road and Major M-18 road are 2 km away from the fortress.
