Zajecar gets aqua park and visitor center next to Romuliana

Zajecar will soon obtain an aqua park with thermal water. It will be situated very close to Romuliana. It is a mineral spring near Gamzigrad that has never been tapped into before. Besides, a visitor center is also under construction next to Romuliana. And it will be a science and research facility. This project is financed by the European Union with about EUR 10 million, Zajecar Mayor Sasa Mirkovic told the weekly magazine Vreme.

Mirkovic added that it was important for Zajecar to refresh and increase its hotel accommodation capacity.

- There are several locations in the city and around it that are suitable for the construction of new complexes. All existing accommodation facilities are full and this has nothing to do with me, but with the entire team which is successfully working on the promotion of this city - the Zajecar TV Best cited Mirkovic as saying to Vreme.
