Copper Mill in Sevojno invests another 4.7m EUR into modernization of its production units

The completion of three-year investment cycle worth 16m EUR is underway in the Copper Mill in Sevojno near Užice, the majority owner of which is consortium "East Point" and "Amalco". In that way, the obligations from the sales contract have been fulfilled and the conditions for production growth created.

The works on the modernization of the casting machine are close to an end, which will create conditions for production of castings of better quality. In the following days, a completely modernized rolling unit will be put into operation, whereas the delivery of modern line for levelling and straightening of bands is expected by the end of February 2007.
