In 2009, guided by the concept of good wine at good place, Atos Fructum planted the first vineyards in one of the most famous wine regions in our country.

Within the Atos Fructum company, in September 2013, a new, modern winery, Deuric, was opened at the south slope of Fruska gora, near the Mala Remeta village. As we found out, in late March, all wine fans will have at their disposal a wine house which will provide guests with wine and local dishes degustation.

- When the first plantations were completed in 2009, we wanted to produce quality wine for our own needs. The analysis of land, selection of top wine kinds and certified seeds as well as engagement of professional and expert associates is sufficient to prove our commitment and wish to plant extremely high quality grapes. We started wine production in 2012 and rajnski rizling and traminac were the first wines. We produce annually 2.000 liters. We have invested in our wine story half a million euros so far - Gordana Cuckovic, Manager of agro tourism in Atos Fructum says for eKapija.

The first wines were Rajnski rizling and traminac called Sapat and Iskra, which are available as for now only in Deuric winery.

Next year, Atos Fructum is planning to start production of chardonnay, merlot, sauvignon, probus and pinot noir. In the upcoming period, with the Deuric winery, it will generate some 100.000 bottles per year.

The Deuric vinery will join the wine roads i.e. it will welcome all wine fans.

- In late May, we are finishing equipping of wine house where a degustation will be organized. Our restaurant will have rich offer of food and wines combined in line with our guests’ wishes. Seminars, meetings, presentations of interested clients will be held at the conference hall. We will organize tours round the orchard and vineyard, walks along the paths of health through the national park of Fruska gora, tour round the Mala Remeta and Jazak monasteries. In the evening hours, with a splendid view over the former Roman capital, Sirmium, with the sounds of music and good wine, visitors can enjoy the wonderful environment.

For the guests who would like to enjoy couple of days good wine and natural beauties of Fruska gora, four suites within the vinery will be available.

Apples for EU, Russia, Kuwait and Egypt

The orchard of Atos Fructum was made in 2007 in Mala Remeta at the south slopes of Fruska gora and expands on 90 ha. As of the beginning, the entire system of production, packing and distribution was set in line with the highest standards.

The orchards are protected with the anti-hail network and are equipped with the irrigation system. The orchard has a modern cold storage of 3.200 tons.

As we found out in Atos Fructum, they produce 3.500 tons of apples of different kinds.

Out of the total production, 60% of apples is placed in Russia, Denmark, Great Britain, Greece and Romania.

- We have poured EUR 40.000 per hectare so far. We are planning to expand plantations of apples for 10 hectares annually - GordanaCuckovic, Manger for agro tourism in Atos Fructum says.

Atos Fructum employs 15 full time employees and some 200 seasonal. The company is planning to participate at world fruit fairs in Moscow and Berlin and they are announcing apple export to Egypt and Kuwait.
