Future athletic complex and National Tennis Center to be built in Novi Beograde, investment worth about 8m EUR

According to the words of Goran Kreclović, the Secretary for Sport and Youth in the Parliament of City of Belgrade, the implementation of the project for construction of Athletic complex and National Tennis Center began at the end of 2006.

This voluminous project will be financed from the funds of the National Investment Plan and from the city budget.

- Both sports complexes will be built on the locations in Novi Beograd. The plan is that the Athletic complex be built west from Dr Ivana Ribara Street, whil the National Tennis Center will be built in Block 5, near the Palace of Sports – said Kreclović.

The Athletic complex will be built on the surface of 2.5 ha and the value of the project is 5m EUR, while 2.8m EUR will be invested in the National Tennis Center.
