Ambitions of Croatian manufacturers of car parts - 30% of part for Zastava 10 to arrive from Croatia
Croatian Association of Manufacturers and "HD auto", which started the initiative, claims that the gathering of Croatian companies interested in production of parts for "zastava 10" is in its prime. The Manager of "HD auto", Hrvoje Dujnić, announced more than 20 Croatian companies, some of which are close to end the negotiations with "Zastava".
Present price of the basic model, that is, the last but one model of Italian "Punto", which is also produced in Torino, is 8,450 EUR. With the commencement of production in Serbia and the delivery of Croatian parts, the price for Croatian market could be even lower. It is important to point out that `Fiat` allowed the reaplcement of all parts except for engine and transmission, so that the ambition of the manufacturers is that "Zastava 10" contains about 30% of parts made in Croatia.
It is mentioned that the batteries may be produced by Zagreb-based "Munja", windshields by "Lipik glass", whereas a certain factory from Čakovac is interested in production of covers for tyre casings.
It has also been announced that oil company "Ina" will, most probably, be delivering all liquids and lubricants that are required for the first filling of automobiles.
