Pharmaceutical company "Actavis" to invest about 30m EUR in Leskovac-based "Zdravlje" prior to end of 2008

- Icelandic pharmaceutical company "Actavis", within which Leskovac-based "Zdravlje" operates since 2003, has so far invested about 23m EUR in the modernization of that Serbian company - said the Manager of the Company's Office in Belgrade Goran Orlić.

According to his words, it is expected that, before the expiration of the sales contract, at the end of year 2008, the total value of the investments will amount to about 30m EUR.

Orlić stated that 1.3m EUR had been invested in the organization of physical-chemical laboratory in Leskovac in 2006. He also said that the adaptation of microbiological laboratory, according to the highest standards of good laboratory practice, would be finished by mid-2007.
