Strengthening ties between Belgrade and London - Seminar on development of economic relations between Serbia and Great Britain on April 7

The event that will take place Monday, April 7 at the Deputies Club will bring together numerous economic and political representatives from London and Belgrade, including Jorgovanka Tabakovic, the governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Zeljko Sertic, the president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Dr. Zoran Perisic, the president of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, Goran Vesic, the secretary of the Transient Council of the City of Belgrade, etc.
The aim is to gather decision-makers from institutional, business and diplomatic circles "in order to identify opportunities and challenges to the development of cooperation between the two countries," said the organizer - the consulting company Eurosfera.
Macfarlane welcomes this initiative for connecting business people from the Great Britain and Serbia.
This event is sponsored by the National Assembly's Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the deputy president of that body, Irena Vujovic, who will be one of the speakers, said that "the seminar on British-Serbian business relations is important, given the large potential for the improvement of cooperation in all fields".
- Serbia is starting negotiations with the European Union, and the support of the Great Britain in that process is very significant - Vujovic stressed.
