Spain invests 204,000 EUR in development of renewable energy sources in Serbia

The Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia, Radomir Naumov, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Riera Sikier, will sign tomorrow (January 25, 2007) the Agreement on donation in amount of 204,000 EUR for project "Strenghtening of Center for Renewable Energy Sources in Energy Efficiency Agency of Serbia".

After the signing of the Agreement, Serbia will finally be able to do the quality research of the potentials of wind energy and to locate possible areas for erection of wind generators. Implementation of that project will also provide for meeting of obligations determined by the domestic law, as well as international obligations and running of energy policy of the country.

This event should take place in the presence of the Minister of International Relations, Milan Parivodić, and the Deputy Manager of the Energy Efficiency Agency Bojan Kovačić.
