Flash Srb textile plant in Apatin to kick off production in spring 2015 - ZOP Inzenjering already on building site

Italy's Flash Srb has commenced the construction of a factory for weaving, dyeing and finishing the textile in the Freight Transportation Center in Apatin. Ongoing preparation works for the installation of infrastructure are being carried out by ZOP Inzenjering from Belgrade. This will be the first factory within Apatin Free Zone. According to the local daily Novi glas komune, the production should start in one year.
- This factory will be built in several phases – Nikola Borcic from ZOP Inzenjering, the head of the construction site, told Novi glas komune.

The company from Belgrade whose workers are on the site is a partner of the Italian company Capelari that made all arrangements for this job with the general contractor and supervisory authority for all works - the NR Plan company from Italy.

- According to the agreement, the future textile plant will be completely finished by next January and put into operation in the spring 2015. A lot of machines and about 80 permanent construction workers will be engaged in the following period, and we expect over 100 people to work on the equipping of this facility - Borcic pointed out.

The start of the construction of this factory was symbolically marked 21 December 2013, when Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, Apatin Mayor Zivorad Smiljanic and Flash Srb CEO Robert Vitti laid the foundation stone.
